Increase the number of visitors in the wineries and museums of the Route of Wine 'Bullas'

  Bullas counts in total with 21.104 visitors to the wineries and museums of the Wine Route. It supposes an increase over 30% growth comparing with the last year when the number of visitor was 13.003.

The Spanish Association of wine cities (ACEVIN) has published the eighth annual report about visitors to the wineries and museums of wine belonging to the Product Club Route of Wine in Spain, a document that allows to know and study the habits and interests of the oenological tourism in Spain.   

 This new report shows the data from 2015 in 24 of 25 Routes of Wine that are part of the Product Club, where the Route of Wine from Bullas belongs. One more time, the data confirms an increase of the total of visitors in the wineries of the routes integrated in the Route of Wine in Spain.

  Bullas counts in total with 21.104 visitors to the establishments that have participated in this study which have been five wineries and four museums of the Wine Route. It supposes an increase over 30% growth comparing with the last year when the number of visitor was 13.003.

  Making an analysis of the visitors per month, the study says, in general terms, that autumn and spring are the season more actives to enjoy the wine tourism. In the case of Bullas, the month of April is the most profitable in the number of visitors with 5.482. On the contrary, July is the month with the worst data with 596 visitors.

  On the other hand, about data relative to the price of the visitors verifies that in Bullas the medium expense it is around 13 Euros that visitors spend in shopping and tasting wines.

 In conclusion, this report confirms that the wine tourism is still a complement of the great interest in the Spanish touristic destination with a big volume, such as sun and beach, and it has been converted in a motor of development in the interior areas, especially in the places where wines have a great prestige.
